Pamela Garcia, MD

Dr. Pamela Garcia has been practicing family medicine in Austin since 1989. She joined Jefferson Street Family Practice in 1994. Dr. Garcia is a native of Corpus Christi, TX. She is an alumnus of the University of Texas where she graduated Summa Cum Laude, with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology in 1981. Her medical degree is from Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. She completed her internship and residency in Family Medicine at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX.
Dr. Garcia is an avid golfer, and she enjoys traveling. She is an animal lover, and she is especially fond of her long haired dachshund, Annika, and her Yorkshire terrier, Abby. In 1989, Dr. Garcia served as medical director for the Seton Indigent Health Clinic. More recently, she has worked at the Seton Volunteer Clinic. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, Texas Academy of Family Physicians, and Travis County Physicians. She has been past president for the Austin Chapter of Executive Women’s Golf Association.
